ENTRANCE TO THE CAVERN:
After the arrival in Levigliani, a mountain village in Stazzema Municipality, the excursionists get on a bus and reach , through a quarry road, the cavern’s entrance. Here starts a two hours excursion.

TEMPERATURE: 7,6° all the year round.
For this reason it is better to wear a sweater. Shoes are important too. Humidity makes the ground slippery. The guides recommend to wear trekking boots, or robber soled shoes. |
